Description: - An Edwardian 18ct yellow gold Keeper ring. The ring is of reeded form.
Keeper rings were originally worn on the finger to prevent another ring from inadvertently sliding off that finger.
The ring is hallmarked with Birmingham marks, '18' for 18 carat gold, and date letter 'l' to denote 1910.
Assay: - .750 Gold (18ct).
Period: - Early 20th Century.
Date: - 1910.
Maker: - Samuel Hope.
Measurement: - UK ring size T 1/2 (leading edge). US ring size 9 3/4 (leading edge). The band measures approximately 9.0mm wide.
Weight: - 9.7 grams.
