Description: - A Victorian sterling silver caddy spoon. The caddy spoon is crafted with an openwork crown finial, and a heart-shaped bowl, with a courting couple in relief. The caddy spoon is made by the silversmith J.M. Talbot, and hallmarked Edinburgh 1896.
Assay: - .925 Sterling Silver.
Date: - 1896.
Period: - Late 19th Century.
Maker: - J.M. Talbot.
Measurement: - The caddy spoon measures 6.9 cm (end to end length). The bowl measures 3.2cm (width) x 0.4cm (bowl depth).
Weight: - 11.6 grams / 0.37 troy ounces.
Condition: - The caddy spoon is in good condition. Minor surface scratches commensurate with age. Please see photographs for confirmation of condition.
