Description: - A Victorian 18ct yellow gold Mizpah ring. The ring is hallmarked with the Chester Assay office stamp, '18' (to denote 18 carat gold), and the date letter 'N', for 1896. Mizpah is Hebrew for "watchtower", and from Biblical times onwards, Mizpah has come to connote an emotional bond between people who are separated either physically or by death.

Measurement: - The band is 7mm wide to the front and 5.8mm to the reverse. UK ring size M 1/2. US ring size 6 1/4.

Weight: - 7.8 grams / 0.25 troy ounces.

Condition: - The ring is in good antique condition. Light surface scratches and wear commensurate with age. Please see photographs for confirmation of condition.
