Description: - An Elizabeth II sterling silver mug. The mug (or tankard) is crafted in the Georgian style, of tapering circular form, on a raised circular foot, with a capped double C scroll handle.
The mug is made by Cooper Brothers & Sons Ltd, Sheffield, 1967.
Assay: - .925 (sterling silver).
Date: - 1967.
Period: - Late 20th Century.
Maker: - Cooper Brothers & Sons Ltd.
Engraving: - Stamped to the base "S2568", & "MADE IN ENGLAND".
Measurement: - Approximately 11.8cm (height) x 15.8cm (width to include handle) x 10.7cm (foot diameter). The mug can hold approximately 570ml - to the rim.
Weight: - 340.5 grams.
Condition: - The mug is in good condition, with light surface scratches, nicks, and minor tarnishing. Please see photos for confirmation of condition.
