Description: - An early 20th century silver and enamel vesta case match holder by the Norwegian silversmith Marius Hammer. The silver and enamel vesta depicts Fantoft Stave Church located in the Fana borough of the city of Bergen, Norway.  The vesta case is stamped 'MH' for Marius Hammer, and '925'.

Date: - Circa 1900.

Period: - Early 20th Century.

Measurement: - The vesta case measures 43mm (height) x 36mm (width) x 12.8mm (depth).

Weight: - 31.8 grams / 1.02 troy ounces.

Condition: - The vesta case is in good condition. The lid opens smoothly and firmly snaps closed. Light surface scratches and tarnishing commensurate with age. Please see photos for confirmation of condition.
