Description: - An Austrian silver & enamel cigarette (or cheroot) case. The cigarette case is of rectangular form, the front is enamelled with a circular panel of a lady in hunting dress, and a hunting horn to her left.

Assay: - .800 Dog head small mark (used between 1867 - 1922), with Vienna town letter 'A'.

Date: - Circa 1900.

Engraving: - Unengraved.

Maker: - Marked 'OD' for Oscar Julius Dietrich.

Measurement: - 8.4cm (width) x 6.5cm (length) x 1.3cm (depth). (1 inch = 25.4mm)

Weight: - 119.5 grams / 3.84 troy ounces.

Condition: - The hinge works perfectly and closes tightly. There are no splits, damage or repairs. Light surface marks, scratches, and tarnishing commensurate with age. Internal elastic bands are slightly worn and perishing. Enamel displays very little wear. Please see photos for confirmation of condition.
