Description: - A George IV sterling silver gilt christening cup, by Charles Reily & George Storer, London, 1828. The christening cup is of circular fluted form with gilt interior; profusely decorated with flowers and leaves around the perimeter, to the scrolling handle, and circular pedestal foot.

Date: - 1828.

Period: - 19th century.

Measurement: - The christening cup measures 7.8cm (height to top of handle) x 11.8cm (length handle to rim) x 8.8cm (cup diameter).

Weight: - 152.4 grams / 4.90 troy ounces.

Condition: - The christening cup is in good antique condition. A couple of very light pin-prick dings commensurate with age. The gilt wash displays light wear. Decoration is crisp. The handle is strong. Please see photos for confirmation of condition.
