Description: - A George V sterling silver Celtic Revival bowl, Glasgow, 1915.

The spot-hammered circular bowl is crafted with an upper band of Celtic knotwork, dragons, bosses and similarly decorated twin hoop handles, on a short column to domed foot, sitting on an oak plinth mounted with brass plaque inscribed with the dedication: 'PRESENTED TO MRS ROBERTSON, OF CARNBOOTH BY ONE WHO KNOWS WHAT DEVOTED AND UNWEARYING EFFORTS SHE HAS MADE ON BEHALF OF OUR WOUNDED HEROES DURING THE GREAT WAR JANUARY, 1917', further mounted with central ivorine plaque.
