Description: A pair of Arts and Crafts style sterling silver ewers by Johnson, Walker & Tolhurst, London, 1935. These planished circular form ewers feature hinged covers with disc finials and scroll thumb-pieces, card-cut relief decoration, scroll handles, and are raised on circular feet.

  • Assay: Sterling Silver (.925), hallmarked London, 1935 (Jubilee mark).
  • Period: Mid 20th century.
  • Engraving: Unengraved.
  • Measurement: Each ewer measures approximately 11.3 cm in height, 9.2 cm / 9.0 cm in length (handle to spout), and 6.8 cm in body width.
  • Weight: Combined weight of 551.9 grams.
