Description: - A pair of Arts and Crafts style sterling silver jugs. The planished jugs are of circular form, having hinged covers with disc finial and scroll thumb-piece. The body of the jugs have a central girdle and card-cut decoration in relief, with scroll handle, and are raised on a circular foot. The jugs are hallmarked London, 1935 (Jubilee mark), and with the makers mark of Johnson, Walker & Tolhurst.

Date: - 1935.

Period: - Mid 20th century.

Measurement: - The jugs measure approximately:

Jug 1 - 11.3 cm (height) x 9.2 cm (length between handle and spout) x 6.8 cm (body width),

Jug 2 - 11.3cm (height) x 9.0 cm (length between handle and spout) x 6.8 cm (body width).

Weight: - The jugs combined weight is 551.9 grams / 16.46 troy ounces.

Condition: - The pair of jugs are in good vintage condition. Light surface scratches, marks, and a couple of minor bruises commensurate with age. There are no splits, or repairs, or dents. Hallmarks are clear. Please see photos for confirmation of condition.
