Description: - A George III silver meat skewer made by the Dublin Silversmith John Dalrymple in 1793. The meat skewer is decorated with bright cut borders, ribbon decoration, vacant cartouche, and completed with a ring loop handle.
Date: - 1793.
Period: - 18th Century.
Maker: - John Dalrymple.
Measurement: - The meat skewer measures 29.3 cm in length.
Weight: - 95.3 grams / 3.06 troy ounces.
Condition: - The meat skewer is in good condition. Displaying surface scratches commensurate with age and usage. Minor rubbing to the decoration. Hallmarks are clear. Please see photographs for confirmation of condition.
