Description: - A George V Arts and Crafts sterling silver jug. The planished jug is of circular form, having a hinged cover with disc finial and scroll thumb-piece. The body of the jug has a central girdle and card-cut decoration in relief, with scroll handle, and raised on a circular foot. The jug is hallmarked Sheffield, 1923, with makers mark of Johnson, Walker & Tolhurst.

Period: - Early 20th century.

Measurement: - The jug measures approximately 13.6 cm (height) x 10.2 cm (length between handle and spout) x 7.5cm (body width).
Weight: - The jug weighs 297.4 grams / 9.56 troy ounces.
Condition: - The jug is in good vintage condition. Light surface scratches and marks commensurate with age. There are no splits, or repairs, or dents. Minor rubbing to the hallmarks. Please see photos for confirmation of condition.
