Description: - A Victorian period (c1880) 9ct gold & silver fronted 1.21cts diamond crescent star brooch. As was common for the period, the brooch is unhallmarked, and has been tested to be silver fronted, and 9ct gold to the reverse.
Period: - Late 19th Century.
Date: - Circa 1880.
Engraving: - None.
Measurement: - The brooch measure 4.8 cm from end to end. The diamonds have an estimated carat weight of 1.21 carats.
Weight: - 4.4 grams / 0.14 troy ounces.
Condition: - The brooch is in good condition. There are light surface scratches to the brooch as would be expected with the age and usage of the piece. The pin and clasp work as expected. The diamonds have good sparkle. Please see photos for confirmation of condition.
