Description: - A George III sterling silver Salver by Hester Bateman, London, 1780. The Salver is of circular form, with a beaded border, sitting on three claw and ball feet. The centre of the Salver has a foliate scroll decoration. The hallmarks are located to the reverse with the makers mark HB (Hester Bateman), London assay mark, and date letter 'e' for 1780.

Assay: - .925 (Sterling Silver).

Period: - 1780.

Maker: - Hester Bateman.

Measurement: - The Salver measures 18.1cm in diameter.

Weight: - 296.3 grams / 9.53 troy ounces.
