Description: - A Set of four Elizabeth II silver Coronation dishes, by the renowned and very collectable silversmith R.E. Stone, London, 1953; and retailed by Garrard & Co Ltd, 112 Regent Street, London.

The dishes are of shaped circular form, with pierced handles cast as the Royal crown, the base are set variously with a 1902 Edward VII crown, a 1935 George V crown, a 1937 George VI crown, and a 1953 Elizabeth II 5 shilling coin. The dishes are contained in a fitted red-leather covered case.

Assay: - .925 (Sterling Silver), with the optional coronation mark.

Measurement: - The dishes measures approximately 13.5cm (length) x 8.8cm (bowl diameter) x 2.6cm (height).

Weight: - 420.8 grams (combined).

Condition: - The silver dishes are in good condition. There are light surface scratches, patina, and marks commensurate with age. There are no dents, splits, or repairs to the dish. The case is a little stained to the inner silk lining; and fraying around the outside edges. Please see photos for confirmation of condition.
