Description: This Edwardian era 9ct yellow gold curb link double Albert watch chain, complete with T-bar, is a fine example of early 20th-century craftsmanship. Made by George Edward Gee in 1905, it showcases the detailed workmanship of the period.
The chain is meticulously marked '9', '.375' on each curb link, T-bar, and dog clips, authenticating its 9 carat gold composition. Although the maker's marks on the dog clips have worn, the Birmingham assay mark and the date letter 'f' for 1905 are clearly stamped on one of the links.
