Description: - A 9ct mellow rose gold trombone link albert chain, with bloodstone and carnelian fob.
Date: - Circa 1915.
Engraving: - N/A.
Measurement: - The gold watch chain measures approximately 14 7/8 inches (37.8 cm) end-to-end. The fob measures 1 7/16 inches (3.6cm) in length. Total combined length of chain and fob is 16 3/8 inches (41.7 cm). The chain links are 6.5mm at their widest point.
Weight: - The chain including fob weights approximately 41.6 grams. The chain without fob measures approximately 31.7 grams. The fob weighs approximately 9.9 grams.
Condition: - The 9ct albert chain is in good antique condition. The chain is stamped '9', '.375' on each of the links, 9.375 on the T-bar, and dog clip. The links display minor surface scratches, rubbing, and wear commensurate with age. One link is hallmarked with the Birmingham assay mark, but the date letter is rubbed. The bloodstone and carnelian fob is in good condition. The fob displays a few minor bruises to the gold mount. The bloodstone and carnelian stones have minor nicks to the edges of the stones. The fob is hallmarked 9ct (partially rubbed). Please see photographs for confirmation of condition.
