Description: - An 18ct yellow gold and diamond knot ring. The ring is set with three graduated old cut diamonds in star settings, on an engraved knot mount, with reeded shoulders and plain band.
The ring is UK hallmarked with the Birmingham Assay office stamp, '18' to denote 18 carat gold, and the date letter 'u', for 1919.
Assay: - .750 Gold (18ct).
Period: - Early 20th Century.

Measurement: - UK ring size K 1/2 (Leading edge). US ring size 5 1/2 (Leading edge). The ring measures approximately 11.0mm to the front and 3.6mm to the reverse. The central diamond measures 2mm (diameter) and the diamonds either side measure 1.8mm (diameter).
Weight: - 5.4 grams.
Condition: - The ring is in good antique condition. Light scratches commensurate with age. A couple of minor nicks/chips to the edges of the diamonds when viewed at x10 magnification. Gemstone treatment is unknown. Please see photos for confirmation of condition.
