Description: - An 18ct yellow gold and diamond knot ring. The ring is set with an old cut diamond in a star setting, on a fancy chain link knot mount, with reeded shoulders and plain band.
The ring is UK hallmarked with the Birmingham assay marks, '18' to denote 18 carat gold, and the date letter 'n', for 1912.
Assay: - .750 Gold (18ct).
Period: - Early 20th Century.
Date: - 1912.
Engraving: - N/A.
Measurement: - UK ring size T 1/2 (leading edge). US ring size 9 3/4 (leading edge). The ring is strong and thick at approximately 8.5mm to the front and 4mm to the reverse. The central 0.04ct diamond measures 2.3mm (diameter).
Weight: - 6.7 grams.
Condition: - The ring is in good antique condition. Light scratches commensurate with age. The fancy chain link knots to the front of the ring are not soldered together, and therefore are free to move like typical chain links. Gemstone treatment is unknown.
