Description: - A George V 18ct yellow gold oval bloodstone intaglio signet ring. The ring is engraved with a family crest and the Latin inscription "MORS MIHI LUCRUM" which translates as "Death Is My Reward".
The ring is hallmarked with London assay office marks, the date letter 'S' to denote 1933, and stamped '18' for 18 carat gold.
Period: - Early 20th century.

Engraving: - Engraved with a crest, and to the inside of the ring with the letters "O.D.J. Ⓢ".
Maker: - W.W.LD.
Measurement: - UK ring size S 1/2 (leading edge). US ring size 9 1/4 (leading edge). The bloodstone measures 11.5mm (height) x 9.5mm (width).
Weight: - 6.6 grams.
Condition: - The ring is in good vintage condition. Light scratches, minor surface marks, and abrasion commensurate with age. The ring displays evidence of having been previously resized. Please see photos for confirmation of condition.
