Description: - A Victorian 18ct yellow gold diamond snake ring. The ring is a fabulous antique double headed snake ring which coils around the finger. The two snakes are each set with an old cut diamond into the head with a total weight of approximately 0.20cts.
The ring is stamped with London hallmarks, 1896.
A snake ring such as this was meant as a symbol of "everlasting love" and a love that will "last for an eternity".

Measurement: - The ring is a UK Size S 3/4 (measured to the leading edge). US ring size 9 1/2 (measured to the leading edge). The ring measures 11mm in width to the front and 5.5mm to the rear.
Weight: - The ring weighs approximately 6.6 grams.
Condition: - The old cut diamonds display good sparkle. Light surface scratches to the shank commensurate with age. Gemstone treatment is unknown. Please see photos for confirmation of condition.
