Description: - A Victorian 15 carat yellow gold diamond gypsy ring. The gold ring is set with a bright and lively old mine cut diamond of approximately 0.60 carat.

As was common for the period the ring is stamped '15ct' to denote 15 carat gold.

Period: - Late 19th Century.

Date: - Circa 1880s.

Engraving: - Unengraved.

Measurement: - UK ring size T 1/2 (leading edge). US ring size 9 3/4 (leading edge). The face of the ring measures approximately 10.0mm (width) to the front, and 2.8mm (width) to the reverse. 

The diamond measures approximately 5.4mm (length) x 4.9mm (width) x 3.0mm (depth).

Weight: - 6.3 grams.

Condition: - The ring is in good condition. Minor surface scratches, and pitting to the gold ring commensurate with age. The antique ring displays signs of having been previously resized. The hand cut diamond has good clarity, with minor abrasion to the facet edges commensurate with age. Please see photos for confirmation of condition.
