Description: - A Finnish 14ct yellow gold and pearl modernist brooch designed by Björn Weckström for Lapponia.
The brooch is hallmarked with the Lapponia makers mark, '585' to denote 14 carat gold, Finnish nation mark, and date code 'O7' to denote 1967.
Period: - Late 20th Century.
Maker: - Lapponia.
Measurement: - The brooch measures approximately 4.6cm in length x 3.3cm in height (to include pearl drop).
Weight: - 3.8 grams / 0.12 troy ounces.
Condition: - Minor surface wear commensurate with age. The pearls are well matched in terms of colour, displaying a creamy white. Please note the pearls are untested and unwarranted for natural pearls. Gemstone treatment is unknown. Please see photos for confirmation of condition.
