Description: - A sterling silver spoon by George Hart for the Guild of Handicraft. The spoon is spot-hammered, with a fig-shaped bowl, and tapering stem with a trefoil shaped finial. The spoon is fully hallmarked with the London assay office mark, sterling silver standard mark, date letter 'q' to denote 1931, and makers marks 'G OF H' for The Guild Of Handicraft.
