Description: - A Victorian 18ct yellow gold and black enamel memorial ring. The band reads "IN MEMORIAM", and is inscribed to the interior "Benjamin Baldwin 2nd July 1875.".

The ring is hallmarked with London marks, 1871, and "18" to denote 18 karat (carat) gold.

Date: - 1871.

Period: - Late 19th Century.

Engraving: - "Benjamin Baldwin 2nd July 1875.".

Measurement: - UK ring size Q 3/4 measured to the leading edge. US ring size 8 1/2 measured to the leading edge. The band measures approximately 5.5mm in width.

Weight: - 5.4 grams.

Condition: - The band and the enamel on the ring are both in good condition, displaying minor surface scratches commensurate with age. Please see photos for confirmation of condition.
