Description: - A George III sterling silver salver. The salver is of oblong form, with a gadrooned and shell border, engraved with C-scrolls, foliate swags, an armorial crest, on four ball feet.

The hallmarks are located to the reverse with the makers mark of 'W·B' William Bennett, London marks, and date letter 'O' for 1809.

Assay: - .925 (Sterling Silver).

Period: - 1809.

Engraving: - Armorial crest.

Maker: - William Bennett.

Measurement: - 31.7cm (length) x 24.5cm (width) x 4.1cm (height).

Weight: - 959.1 grams.

Condition: - The salver is in good antique condition. Light surface scratches, pitting, and marks associated with a piece of this age. There are no dents, splits, or repairs to the salver. Minor rubbing to the engraving. The hallmarks are crisp. Please see photos for confirmation of condition.
