Description: - An Early 20th century sterling silver trombone link albert watch chain.

The T-bar and chain appear to be original, with the dog clips later replacements from the early part of the 20th century. Each chain link is hallmarked with the lion passant to denote sterling silver, other than a couple of links that are rubbed. The T-bar is hallmarked with the makers mark 'PPLD', Lion Passant, and date letter 'g' to denote 1906. One of the dog clips is hallmarked with the makers mark 'WWC', and date letter 'y' for 1923. The other dog clip is stamped 'S.S'. The pair of dog clips appear to be a matching pair of contemporaneous construction.
