Description: - A Victorian sterling silver-gilt bowl. The bowl is crafted with an undulating rim, silver-gilt interior, embossed ribbon garlands, acanthus darting, and twin ram head ring handles, on a spreading foot.

The bowl is hallmarked with the makers mark of Elkington & Co (Frederick Elkington), with London assay marks, date letter 'G' for 1882, and Victorian duty mark.

Period: - Late 19th century.

Date: - 1882.

Maker: - Elkington & Co (Frederick Elkington).

Measurement: - 19.5cm (length) x 12.0cm (width) x 7.0cm (height).

Weight: - 319.5 grams.

Condition: - The bowl is in good condition. Minor scratches, and marks commensurate with age. To the interior of the bowl, the silver-gilt wash is partially rubbed, and few minor surface dings are present. There are no dents, splits, or repairs to the bowl.
