Description: - An Elizabeth II Parcel Gilt Silver Goblet, by Desmond Clen-Murphy for Aurum, London, 1976. It is numbered 304 from a limited edition of 600. The goblet is of tapering trefoil form, the foot cast as wheat sheafs, complete with a band of various birds.

The goblet is engraved to the base:

'NUMBER 304 OF A LIMITED EDITION OF 600 MADE BY ORDER OF THE DEAN AND CHAPTER TO COMMEMORATE THE NINTH CENTENARY OF THE FOUNDATION OF CHICHESTER CATHEDRAL IN 1075'.

Box, and Certificate included.

The booklet certificate is signed by Walter Hussey, Dean of Chichester.

Period: - Late 20th Century.

Date: - 1976.

Maker: - Desmond Clen-Murphy for Aurum.

Measurement: - 16.5cm (height) x 7.1cm (width).

Weight: - 319.3 grams.

Condition: - The silver parcel-gilt goblet is in good condition. Minor surface scratches commensurate with age. The goblet unscrews at the base into three parts. The box displays minor surface marks, and staining in places. Please see photographs for confirmation of condition.
