Description: - A George III sterling silver salver by Hester Bateman, London, 1780. The salver is of circular form, with a beaded border, sitting on three claw and ball feet. The centre of the salver has a later foliate scroll engraved decoration. The hallmarks are located to the reverse with the makers mark HB (Hester Bateman), London assay marks, and date letter 'e' for 1780.

Period: - 1780.

Measurement: - The salver measures 18.1cm (diameter) x 2.8cm (height).

Weight: - 296.3 grams.

Condition: - The salver is in good antique condition. Light surface scratches and marks associated with a piece of this age. There are no dents, splits, or repairs to the waiter. Please see photos for confirmation of condition.
