Description: - A Japonesque style aesthetic movement silver Tea Caddy box, by Whiting Manufacturing Co. The tea caddy box is engraved to depict bird and bamboo scenes. The tea caddy box has a removable lid, and sits on a circular base, which is stamped with the Whiting Manufacturing Co mark, "Sterling", "707", & "C".

Measurement: - The tea caddy box measures 11.9 cm (height) x 10.1 cm (diameter).

Weight: - 281.0 grams / 9.03 troy ounces.

Condition: - The engraved aesthetic movement design is crisp. The tea caddy box has the usual minor surface marks, and scratches commensurate with age. A few pin prick dings appear to have been professionally knocked back into shape, as evidenced by light silversmith hammer markings near to the base. In summary, a beautiful tea caddy in good shape and condition. Please see photos for confirmation of condition.
