Description: - A sterling silver "Ingot" paperweight made in 1978 by Gerald Benney, the much collected and renowned contemporary silversmith. The paperweight is a solid silver ingot with alternating smooth, and bark finish sides. The paperweight is marked OAP 10 on one side and was presented by Ove Arup Partners (Consulting Engineers) for 10 years service.

Assay: - .925 Sterling Silver.

Date: - 1978.

Period: - Late 20th Century.

Maker: - Gerald Benney.

Measurement: - The paperweight measures 9.9 cm in length x 1.4 cm (depth) x 1.5 cm (height).

Weight: - 237.5 grams / 7.63 troy ounces.

Condition: - The paperweight is in good condition. Minor surface scratches and tarnishing commensurate with age. The hallmarks and makers mark are crisp and deep. Please see photographs for confirmation of condition.
