Description: - A set of 6 antique George III sterling silver Hanoverian Pattern "Fancy-Back" Teaspoons. The backs of the bowls with raised scroll decoration, and engraved to the terminals with the scratch initials 'W' over 'M+G' (for a married couple).

Hallmarked with the Lion passant and makers mark of John Lampfert.

Date: - Circa 1770.

Period: - Late 18th Century.

Engraving: - Engraved to the back of the terminals with contemporary scratch initials 'W' over 'M+G'.

Maker: - John Lampfert.

Measurement: - 12.1 cm in length.

Weight: - 78.3 grams.

Condition: - The teaspoons are in good antique condition. Minor surface scratches, pin-prick dings to the bowls, wear, and tarnishing, commensurate with age. Please see photographs for confirmation of condition.
