Item: - A George II Sterling Silver Crested Marrow Scoop.

The scoop is hallmarked with the makers mark of Jeremiah King, London assay office marks, lion passant to denote sterling silver, and date stamp 'h' to denote 1743.

Date: - 1743.

Period: - Mid 18th Century.

Engraving: - Engraved with the letters 'C' above 'P·E' to the back of the marrow scoop stem.

Maker: - Jeremiah King.

Measurement: - 23.1cm (length) x 2.1cm (bowl width) x 0.65cm (bowl depth).

Weight: - 42.2 grams.

Condition: - The marrow scoop is in good antique condition.  Bowls are in good shape. No dents, repairs, or damage. Surface scratches commensurate with age and usage.  Please see photos for confirmation of condition.
