Description: - A Victorian 18ct yellow gold oval banded agate memorial signet ring. The ring is set with a oval banded agate, leading to foliate engraved shoulders, and reeded shank. 

The mourning ring is hallmarked with London assay marks, date letter 'h' to denote 1863, and stamped '18' for 18ct carat gold.

Period: - Mid 19th century.

Date: - 1863.

Engraving: - Engraved to the inside of the shank 'Eliz^th Hall In Memory ob^t 29 April 1863 ae^t 59 yr^s'.

Maker: - "AM".

Measurement: - UK ring size P (leading edge). US ring size 7 3/4 (leading edge). The banded agate measures 15.0mm (height) x 12.0mm (width).

Weight: - 7.0 grams.

Condition: - The ring is in good antique condition. Light scratches, minor surface marks, and abrasion commensurate with age. Rubbing to the engraved decoration to the shoulders. Please see photos for confirmation of condition.
