Description: - A Victorian 18ct yellow gold black enamel memorial mourning ring. The band reads "IN MEMORY OF", and is inscribed to the interior "W.H. Colyer. ob, 10 Sept, 1845 aet, 62.". The ring is hallmarked with London marks, 1845, the makers mark "WR", and "18" to denote 18 karat (carat) gold.

Date: - 1845.

Period: - Mid 19th Century.

Engraving: - "W.H. Colyer. ob, 10 Sept, 1845 aet, 62.".

Measurement: - UK ring size L 1/2 measured to the leading edge. US ring size 5 7/8. The band measures approximately 7.8mm in width.

Weight: - 4.7 grams.

Condition: - The band and the enamel on the ring are both in good condition, displaying minor surface scratches commensurate with age. Please see photos for confirmation of condition.
