Description: - A Georgian 9ct yellow gold and split pearl glazed memorial pendant locket.  The locket is set with split pearls to the bale, and two rows of split pearls arranged around a vacant glazed panel. To the reverse is a hinged glazed panel, that opens and closes securely. As was common for the period, the locket is unhallmarked, and has been tested, and confirmed to be 9ct gold fineness.

Date: - Circa 1820.

Period: - Early 19th Century.

Measurement: - The locket measures 3.6 cm (height including bale) x 2.7 cm (length).

Weight: - 8.7 grams / 0.28 troy ounces. 

Condition: - The locket is in good antique condition. Light surface scratches and tarnishing to the gold commensurate with age. Minor surface scratches to the glazed panel. The pearls have a nice lustre and are well matched in terms of colour.  Please note the pearls are untested and unwarranted for natural pearls. Gemstone treatment is unknown.
