Description: - A Victorian 18 carat yellow gold Keeper ring.  A Keeper ring was originally worn on the finger to prevent another ring from inadvertently sliding off that finger.

The ring is stamped with Birmingham assay office hallmarks, '18' to denote 18ct gold, and the date letter 't', for 1893.

Assay: - .750 Gold (18ct).

Date: - 1893.

Engraving: - Unengraved.

Measurement: - UK ring size L (measured to to the leading edge). US ring size 5 3/4 (measured to the leading edge). The ring is strong and thick at approximately 8.0mm to the front and 3.8mm to the reverse.

Weight: - 4.8 grams.

Condition: - The ring is in good condition. Light surface wear and scratches to the ring commensurate with age. Please see photos for confirmation of condition.
