Description: - An Arts and Crafts sterling silver Paper Knife (or Letter Opener) by Omar Ramsden and Alwyn Carr. The paper knife is crafted with a tapering blade, and spot-hammered decoration, the faceted handle with fluted decoration and an octagonal seal-top finial.

Hallmarked with London assay marks, 1913.

Assay: - .925 Sterling Silver.

Date: - 1913.

Period: - Early 20th Century.

Maker: - Omar Ramsden and Alwyn Carr.

Engraving: - None.

Measurement: - 19.7cm (length) x 1.8cm (width) x 0.95cm (depth). 

Weight: - 82.8 grams.

Condition: - Minor tarnishing, nicks, pitting, and general wear to the letter opener commensurate with age. Hallmarks are clear. Please see photographs for confirmation of condition.
