Description: - A pair of Elizabeth II sterling silver mugs. The mugs (or tankards) are crafted in the George III style, of baluster form upon a spreading circular foot, with acanthus capped double C scroll handles.

The pair of mugs are made by Barker Ellis Silver Co, Birmingham, 1973.

Assay: - .925 (sterling silver).

Date: - 1973.

Period: - Late 20th Century.

Maker: - Barker Ellis Silver Co.

Engraving: - Unengraved.

Measurement: - 9.6cm (height) x 11.3cm (width to include handle) x 7.35cm (rim diameter). The mugs can hold approximately 300ml, filled to the rim.

Weight: - Combined weight of 456.0 grams (230.9 grams + 225.1 grams).

Condition: - The mugs are in good condition, with light surface scratches and minor tarnishing. One of the mugs has minor marks to the inside where items (such as coins) appear to have has been stored inside - This could be polished out if desired. Please see photos for confirmation of condition.
