Description: - An Edwardian Scottish sterling silver mug, Glasgow, 1909. The mug is of planished tapering form on collet foot, with loop handle, one side chased with a maiden with a shepherd's crook, resting against a tree.

Assay: - .925 (Sterling Silver).

Period: - Early 20th Century.

Date: - Glasgow, 1909.

Maker: - John Alexander Fettes.

Engraving: - Unengraved.

Measurement: - 7.2cm (height) x 10.7cm (width to include handle) x 8.0cm (depth). The mug can hold approximately 300ml - to the brim.

Weight: - 184.8 grams.
