Description: - An antique Victorian 18 carat yellow gold bulls-eye banded agate and diamond memorial locket. The locket has a bead and rope design to the perimeter, set with a banded agate, and single diamond surrounded by five others in a star formation located to the centre of the agate. To the back reveals a glazed panel.

The piece is unhallmarked, and has been tested, and confirmed to be 18ct carat gold.

Period: - Late 19th Century.

Date: - Circa 1880.

Engraving: - None.

Measurement: - 4.4 cm (height) x 3.0 cm (width) x 1.7 cm (depth). The banded agate measures 3.0cm x 2.2cm

Weight: - 6.8 grams.

Condition: - The locket is in good antique condition. There are surface scratches to the gold commensurate with age. The diamonds have good clarity and sparkle. The compartment to the back opens and closes securely. Gemstone treatment is unknown. Please see photos for confirmation of condition.
