Description: - A pair of sterling silver pepper pots. The pepper pots are modelled as hobby horses, with pull-off heads, on rectangular bases with four rotating wheels.

Hallmarked with Chester marks, 1910, and the makers mark of 'CF*CS' for Cornelius Desormeaux Saunders & James Francis Hollings (Frank) Shepherd.

Assay: - .925 Sterling Silver.

Date: - 1910.

Period: - Early 20th Century.

Engraving: - Unengraved.

Maker: - Saunders and Shepherd.

Measurement: - 4.4 cm (width from head to tail) x 5.1 cm (length between horse head and wheels) 1.7cm (depth of body).

Weight: - 44.1 grams.

Condition: - The silver pepper pots are in good antique condition. The pepper pots display minor surface scratches, marks, and tarnishing commensurate with usage. Other than a couple of the wheels being a little wobbly laterally, the pepper pots stand up straight without issue. Please see photos for confirmation of condition.
