Description: From the late 19th century, circa 1890s, this Victorian 15 carat gold brooch embodies the Aesthetic Movement with its three-tone gold composition, featuring a Japonesque-style engraving of a swallow on a cherry blossom branch. It includes a glazed locket compartment at the back. The brooch itself is 15 carat gold, verified by testing, while the pin is 9 carat gold.

  • Weight: 6.6 grams.

Condition: Exhibits minor surface scratches. It retains its original clasp and pin, both functioning well. The rear panel's glazed section is a modern replacement. For more details, see the accompanying photos.
