Description: - A late Victorian Art Nouveau silver bowl and stand, by Atkin Brothers, Sheffield, 1900. The bowl is of circular form, repousse decorated with spiraling naturalistic flowering plants, reeded edge, and the low pedestal foot slotting into the separate reeded circular stand with floral festoons, linking the four tall pierced legs with hoof feet.

Assay: - .925 (sterling silver).

Period: - 1900.

Engraving: - None.

Maker: - Atkin Brothers.

Measurement: - 17.0cm (diameter) x 15.8cm (height).

Weight: - 485.8 grams.

Condition: - The bowl and stand are in good antique condition. The light surface scratches, and a couple of minor dings to the base of the bowl. There are no dents, splits, or repairs to the detachable bowl or feet. The feet have a slight wobble on a flat surface. Please see photos for confirmation of condition.
