Description: - An Elizabeth II sterling silver Trophy Cup and Cover, by A. E. Jones, Birmingham, 1968. The two handled cup is of plain circular form, on a spreading circular foot, with fluted finial to the cover.

Assay: - .925 (Sterling Silver).

Period: - Late 20th century.

Date: - 1968.

Maker: - Albert Edward Jones.

Engraving: - No evidence of previous engravings or inscriptions.

Measurement: - 22.9cm (height) x 14.3cm (between handles) x 8.3cm (cup diameter).

Weight: - 450.2 grams.

Condition: - The silver cup is in good condition. Light surface scratches, and pitting commensurate with age. A single deeper surface scratch approx 8.5mm in length directly behind one of the handles - see final magnified image for details. No splits, damage, dents, or repairs. Minor wobble to the base. Please see photos for confirmation of condition.
