Description: - A 9 carat yellow and white gold diamond gypsy ring. The gold ring is set with a modern brilliant cut diamond of approximately 0.40 carat, within a star cut setting, with engraved bridge, and a tapering yellow gold band.
The ring is hallmarked with Birmingham assay office marks, stamped '9.375' to denote 9 carat gold, and date stamp 'H' for 1957.
Period: - Mid 20th Century.
Date: - 1957.
Engraving: - Unengraved.
Measurement: - UK ring size W (leading edge). US ring size 11 (leading edge). The band measures approximately 9.0mm in width to the front, and 2.0mm to the back.
The diamond measures approximately 4.8mm (diameter).
Weight: - 3.7 grams.
Condition: - The vintage ring is in good condition. Minor surface marks and scratches commensurate with age. Please see photos for confirmation of condition.
