Description: - An 18 carat yellow gold crested intaglio signet ring. The ring is engraved with the family crest of Brown, which is a Lion Rampant, and the family motto "Floreat majestas", that translates as "Let majesty flourish".

It ring is hallmarked with Birmingham assay marks, '18' to denote 18 carat gold, and date letter "M" for 1936.

Period: - Mid 20th Century.

Date: - 1936.

Engraving: - Engraved with the family crest of Brown, which is a Lion Rampant, and the family motto "Floreat majestas", that translates as "Let majesty flourish". The ring is engraved to the inside with the personal inscription "Orlando 1937".

Measurement: - UK ring size K, measured to the leading edge. US ring size 5 1/4, measured to the leading edge. The face of the ring measures 10.5mm (height) x 8.0mm (width).

Weight: - 6.4 grams.

Condition: - The ring is in good vintage condition. Light surface scratches, and minor marks commensurate with age. Please see photos for confirmation of condition.
