Description: - A George V 18ct rose gold Lovers Knot ring. Lover’s knot rings were popular in the early 1900s. The meaning was “Eternal love that cannot be untied”.

The ring is hallmarked with London marks, '18' (to denote 18 carat gold), and the date letter 'd', for 1919.

Assay: - .750 Gold (18ct).

Date: - 1919.

Period: - Early 20th Century.

Measurement: - UK ring size U 1/2, measured to the leading edge. US ring size 10 1/4, measured to the leading edge. The ring is 11.0mm wide to the front and 4.8mm to the reverse.

Weight: - 10.8 grams.

Condition: - The ring is in good antique condition. Light surface scratches and wear commensurate with age. Please see photographs for confirmation of condition.
