Description: - A Victorian 18ct yellow gold foliate engraved ring. The ring is crafted in the form of a belt with end tip secured through its strap.

Hallmarked with Chester marks, date letter 'D' to denote 1887, and '18' for 18 carat gold.

Assay: - .750 Gold (18ct).

Period: - Late 19th Century.

Date: - 1887.

Measurement: - UK ring size N 1/2 (leading edge).  US ring size 7 (leading edge). The band is 7.5mm wide.

Weight: - 5.6 grams.

Condition: - The ring is in good antique condition. Light surface scratches commensurate with age. A minor imperfection to a small section of the engraving (that probably the maker in hindsight could have made a little crisper), at the point where one side of the belt is beginning to overlay over the other end. Please see photographs for confirmation of condition.

Item No: - 2056_ha1.

Customs and import taxes: - Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply.
